Making a movement moblie

for Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A, being the amazing company that it is, allows it’s employees to serve others. Remarkable! is a corporate parable and movement created by Chick-Fil-A Vice President David Salyers and speaker/author Dr. Randy Ross. The Remarkable! movement is based on four “maxims of value creation”: creativity (creating value in life); positivity (the by-product of creating value); sustainability (leveraging passion to solve problems); and responsibility (empowerment to create value).

David contacted us, for our expertise in NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, to help them thing about how they could make the movement mobile through the use of technology. We brought together an eclectic group of UX/UI specialists, designers, and developers to brainstorm bold and feasible concepts to make this abstract movement digitally concrete.

The session

Technology still revolves around people so we chose a diverse group of designers and developers to add a new and grounded perspective. We started with a briefing on the movement from it’s founder and then ideated around what an ideal future state would be. From there we moved into more tactical and focused brainstorming to make sure we had a tactical plan that could be used in future states of the project.
